Top Things to Do in Sarasota January Through April

Up-close and personal with MLB stars, exclusive art tours, and an aquarium-based craft beer festival are just a few reasons to visit Sarasota, Florida, during these select winter and spring months.

There’s a reason so many travelers flock to Sarasota during the winter and spring months. After all, it’s when the weather is most pleasant with temps hovering in the 70s. But there’s more to do in this principal Gulf Coast city than just spending sunny days sprawled out on the sand (of which they are many options, from the world-famous Siesta Beach to the quieter Lido Beach). Art tours, spring training, opera, craft beer festivals, and even an iconic motorcycle rally are just a few of the offerings that make Sarasota so deeply sought after beyond the beach.
